Peace Convergence Accommodation
Two caravan parks have been booked for the Peace Convergence from 17 June to 24 June (departing 25 June). (For more information about the Peace Convergence and the Talisman Sabre war games visit www.peaceconvergence.com)

The two caravan parks are Poinciana Tourist Park in Yeppoon and Bell Park Caravan Park in Emu Park which is approximately a 15 minute drive from Yeppoon. (There are buses that run between Yeppoon and Emu Park - approx $4.20 full adult).

As it is impossible to gauge how many people will be attending at this stage we intend to fill the Yeppoon sites first then Emu Park. Please fill out the form below and send ASAP if you would like to book a tent site. It will also help us to get an idea of how many people are wanting to come and if we need to find more accommodation. Organise now to have time away from work, family (or bring them with you!), any other commitments and book now!!

We have booked a limited number of cabins in both caravan parks which are more expensive than tent camping. At least one of these will be an office/information point for the Peace Convergence. The others will be available but preference may need to go to people with special needs e.g. medical condition. Please contact us if you are interested in this.

We would like people to be together in the same accommodation as much as possible for the Peace Convergence which is why we have made reservations at the two caravan parks. However, you are of course welcome to make your own arrangements. Visit www.capricorncoast.com.au/accom.htm for a list of accommodation options.

We also ask that people read the following nonviolent guidelines and agree to abide by these guidelines if participating in the Peace Convergence.

Nonviolent Guidelines:

  • All actions are nonviolent.
  • Respect the Darumbal ownership of the land and cultural heritage.
  • Respect others and aim not to harm, endanger, threaten or degrade anyone.
  • Respect the natural environment and avoid threatening or endangering animals.
  • Respect and make space for the views and actions of other participants.
